The Objectives of the Green Thumb Garden Club of Red Lion are to:
Promote the fine arts of gardening, landscape design,
floral design, and the study of horticulture.
Promote interest in home and civic gardening through public education.
To aid in the protection of bird life and their habitats. And to protect and encourage the use of native plants and wildflowers.

Our club meets the first Monday of the month at 10:30
Emanuel Lutheran Church
2650 Freysville Road, Red Lion
We do not have meetings during the months of January and February but instead meet for lunch at Lion's Pride.

Green Thumb Garden Club Members volunteer in several Civic Improvement projects in our community:
Horticulture Therapy at Victorian Villa in Dallastown
Library Lecture Series for Adults at Kreutz Creek Library
Our members maintain many gardens throughout our community:
Red Lion Square Garden, the Native Plants Memorial Garden at Windsor Park, the Blue Star Memorial Garden at the Welcome Center in Shrewsbury, and the gardens under the two Welcome Signs in Red Lion.

Kathy Gingerich presented a program on birds and the unique features of their feathers.
